The Calatheas are grown for their spectacular ornamental foliage. They belong to the Maranta plant group and have a number of requirements in common, such as, protection from the direct sun, a need for a high humidity and warmth in winter. But with proper care your wonderful Calathea plant can be a real eye-catcher. This Calathea variety, Calathea Rattlesnake, is the easiest of them to grow indoors.
