This extremely varied genus offers an amazing variety of plants with different leaf forms, colors and grow habits. Some peperomias grow upright, others trail, but most of them are compact and they are all fascinating! Peperomia ‘Watermelon’ is a beautiful plant that has silvery green leaves with stripes of darker green color.
| Location | Peperomias prefer moderate to bright light away from direct afternoon sunlight. Variegated types require brighter location than those with plain leaves. |

| Care | Keep the top soil just moist allowing the top inch of the soil to dry out between waterings; water less in winter. Do not repot peperomias into a larger pot right away. Wait until it fills in the whole pot. Remove any damaged/brown leaves and faded flowers. Do not mist but wipe off dust with a damp paper towel to let them breathe and grow better. |
